What to Do If you Have Eaten Something Gross

March 12, 2018 - It has become obvious to us that there is a need for this information given the surprising number of calls we have received from people who have Eaten Something Gross. The story is always the same: the caller has bitten into something purchased at a store or a restaurant, only to discover that they are eating something disgusting. In the past year, we have heard about people inadvertently eating bits of plastic, unidentified substances and bugs. So many bugs.

Happy Anniversary to Us!

March 1, 2018 - Today marks the one year anniversary of Breedon Litigation. I wanted to take a moment to look back on the past year and to acknowledge the many people who have helped us along the way.

In 2015 Wendy and I made the decision to move our family to Barrie, to be closer to our respective families and to reprioritize our lives. As part of that decision, I resigned from the partnership of Lenczner Slaght, the firm where I had spent my entire career. I suspect that many of my friends and colleagues thought I had lost my mind.

Excellent Performance by Osgoode Hall Law School at the 2017 OTLA Cup

March 4, 2017 - We would like to congratulate Parmbir Gill and Zahra Shariff, Osgoode Hall Law School's team in the 2017 OTLA Cup, for their excellent performances at this year's OTLA Cup.

The OTLA Cup is a trial moot organized by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. This year, the OTLA Cup was held in Toronto, with students from six law schools participating. Student performed a mock trial before a real judge, gaining valuable feedback and experience.

Parmbir and Zahra were excellent, winning Best Cross and Best Closing, respectively.

Ryan was the team's coach.
